Preface:-
In the Co-operative Conference of Co-operative Housing Societies, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister (Housing) had made some important announcements for introducing speed and transparency in the working of co-operative housing societies. Self-Redevelopment of Co-operative Housing Societies, is one such major issue. Earlier, with the concurrence of Department of Revenue, Department of Urban Development, Department of Housing and Department of Rural Development, an all comprehensive Resolution on Deemed Conveyance came to be issued, vide the above referred Government Resolution dated 22.06.2018. Pursuant to the announcement made by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister (Housing), the Government contemplated the matter of incorporating therein, the following points:-
GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION:-
Paragraph No.2(c)(iv) of the above referred Government Resolution dt.22/06/2018, provides that upon submission of proposal for Deemed Conveyance, the application should be disposed of within 6 months of the date of issuance of Notice in Form No.10. However, now the Competent Authority would be obliged to take a decision within the period of 1 month from the date of issuance of Notice in Form No.10 on the proposals, if the societies opting for Self-Redevelopment have passed a Resolution to that effect in the General Meeting and submitted a proposal for Deemed Conveyance in the prescribed form, along with the same.
02. All the concerned District Deputy Registrars, Joint Registrars, CIDCO and all other Competent Authorities should proceed to take action on the proposals received by them, as per the provisions of Rules and dispose of such proposals speedily within the prescribed period.
03. This Government Resolution has been made available on the website of the Government of Maharashtra viz. www.maharashtra.gov.in and its Computer Code Number is 202305311210436702. This Resolution is attested and issued under digital signature.
