Special Power of Attorney for Admitting Execution
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, I, ABC, an adult Indian, aged about____ years, occ:-______, r/o:____________, do hereby send my greetings.
WHEREAS, on__________, I executed a Sale Deed (hereinafter, for the sake of brevity, referred to as the ‘Said Sale Deed’) in respect of my self-acquired flat, being and situate at_______, “___” Wing,______ Floor,______________ Co-operative Housing Society,_____________________ Road,____________ (Location),________________ (City/District)______________ State, in favour of Mrs ______________________, an adult Indian, aged about_____ years, occ:-________, r/o:_____________ and also handed her over the possession thereof.
WHEREAS, the ‘Said Sale Deed’ was executed on___________, and the same is required to be lodged in the office of Sub-Registrar_________ or any other proper Sub-Registrar within four (4) months of the date of execution as stipulated under the Registration Act, 1908.
AND WHEREAS, after the date of execution of the sale deed I was required to go to New Delhi for an urgent business related work and having regard to the nature of my business I do not foresee my return to_____ in the near future; hence, I hereby appoint my sister Mrs.________________, an adult Indian, aged about____ years, occ:-_______, r/o:____________________to be my Special Attorney to do the following acts, deeds and things vis-à-vis the ‘Said Sale Deed’ pertaining to the aforementioned flat.
1] To present and/or lodge the ‘Said Sale Deed’ in the office of Sub-Registrar of Assurances at____________ or before such other proper officer as the circumstances warrant.
2] To admit execution of the ‘Said Sale Deed’ in my name and on my behalf and in general to do all such acts, deeds and things as are required for effectually completing the registration of the ‘Said Sale Deed’.
And I do hereby undertake to ratify whatever the Special Attorney may lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of these presents.
